Members of the local biker group Desi Riders have distributed 1,000 Iftar packets to workers in Askar. The meals were packed at Al Barakat Rider’s Mart in Salmabad. Desi Riders, set up in 2006, will continue with its Ramadan food drive throughout the month. It is common for charitable organisations, volunteers and individuals to collect and distribute meals to the less-fortunate during Ramadan.
