Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theatre (PAACT) Kingdom of Bahrain held its Executive Committee Induction and Student Honoring Ceremony at the Carlton Hotel in Adliya, Manama on Friday 04/04/2025. The event marked the official inauguration of the newly elected executive committee for the 2025–2027 term. As part of the evening’s celebrations, PAACT also recognized and honored students who had appeared for 10th and 12th-grade examinations, applauding their hard work and wishing them success in their results. The ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mr. Mohammed Hussain Janahi, Member of the Bahrain Parliament, as the Chief Guest; Mr. Ravikumar Jain, First Secretary of the Indian Embassy, as Guest of Honor; and Dr. K. S. Menon, Managing Director of Broaden Contracting Co., as Special Guest.
The event also welcomed several prominent social dignitaries from Bahrain’s Indian community. The program also featured a series of engaging sessions led by prominent professionals addressing career planning, educational opportunities, and strategies for overcoming contemporary challenges. Speakers included Mr. Sajin Henry (Director, Cisco), Dr. Praveen (Royal Bahrain Hospital), Mr. Suja J.P. Menon (Director, Unigrad), and Mr. Khiler Mohammed (CEO, Amoh Group). Additionally, parents of visiting PAACT members, Mr. Sharafudheen Maraya Mangalam and Ms. Priya Rajesh, were honored during the event.
The members of the governing body for the next two years are: Jyothi Kumar Menon (Chief Coordinator), Ashok Kumar (President), Shivadas Nair (General Secretary), Gopalakrishnan, Subhash Menon, EV Vinod (Vice Presidents), Ravi Marath (Assistant General Secretary), Moorthy Noorani (Treasurer), Sudhir (Assistant Treasurer), Jagadheesh Kumar (Media & Membership Secretary), Deepak Vijayan, Ashok Mannil (Membership Secretaries), Anil Kumar (IT & Membership), Salmanul Faris (Secretary Public Relations), Ramesh K.T., Ramdas Nair, and Satishkumar Gopalakrishnan (Advisory Committee Members). As office bearers of the women's section, Sajitha Satish (President), Usha Suresh (General Secretary), Ramya Gopakumar (Vice President), Dhanya Rahul (Sports & Program), Sheeba Sasi (Entertainment & Admin), and Ramya Sudhi (Public Relations & Membership) were inducted. Assistant General Secretary Ravi Marath expressed his vote of thanks for the function.
