
Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theatre (PAACT) hosted a medical camp, an anti-drug awareness session, and a NORKA-Welfare Fund class. Over 150 people attended the camp at Muharraq Al Hilal Hospital. PAACT President Ashok Kumar presided over the event, and General Secretary Sivadas Nair welcomed everyone. Dr. Rahul Abbas led the anti-drug awareness session, emphasizing the major health concerns caused by drug misuse and the living situations that can lead to drug use. The seminar delved thoroughly into subjects such as the symptoms found in drug users. Following this, a discussion of government schemes such as NORKA-Pravasi Kshema Nidhi benefits, registration, and the processes for receiving government help was held. This conversation was led by A.P. Faisal, a social activist and KMCC Vice President. PAACT Chief Coordinator Jyothi Menon, Al Hilal Hospital Muharraq Marketing Manager Munavir Fairuz, Assistant Operations Manager Vishnu Bhuva Neswaran, and others participated in the discussion.
The camp was coordinated by Jagadheesh Kumar, Moorthy Noorani, Subhash Menon, Satish Kumar, Ramdas Nair, Ravi Marath, Deepak Vijayan, KT Ramesh, Sudhir, Ashok Manuil, EV Vinod, Gopalan, Anil Kumar, women's wing president Sajitha Satish, and office bearers Usha Suresh and Sheeba Sasi. Chemban Jalal, Nasser Manjeri, Pankaj Nallur, Badaruddin Poowar, Abdul Salam, Vishnu, Sunil Babu, Abdul Mansheer, Majeed Thanal, Sharafuddin Marayamangalam, and other social activists visited the camp.
