IYC International, the international cell of the Indian Youth Congress Bahrain, is collaborating with Charkha, a volunteer group, to provide electric wheelchairs to 25 needy people. At a celebration in Pattambi, South Indian State Palakkad District, respected Opposition Leader VD Satheesan and others donated twenty-five wheelchairs to needy individuals. Charka Chairman Riyaz Mukkoli, Shri Najeeb Kanthapuram MLA, former MLAs CP Muhammed and VT Balram, Congress leaders C Sangeetha, Unni, K R Narayana Swamy, and thousands of others attended. IYC Bahrain Chairman Nisar Kunnamkulatingal earned the Charkha award for his involvement in this project.
