
A four-day course to prepare first-aid trainers was organised by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Kuwait at the BRCS headquarters in Seef.
Participants received comprehensive training on essential first-aid guidelines, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adults, children and infants, as well as the proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
The session also covered a wide range of topics such as managing cardiac emergencies, airway obstruction and identifying various medical and environmental emergencies including heat exhaustion, heatstroke, drowning and complications related to diabetes, asthma and epilepsy.
