The Youth Affairs Ministry is organising a comprehensive national event to mark International Youth Day, observed annually on August 12.
The 2025 event, themed ‘Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future’, will take place on Tuesday as part of the 14th edition of the Youth City 2030 project.
As part of the celebrations, the Ministry confirmed a series of inspiring initiatives, including the launch of Bahrain’s first Young Farmers’ Market.
Organised in collaboration with the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry and the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, the market will run from August 10 to 14.
“This initiative marks a significant milestone, reflecting strong government collaboration and showcasing youth innovation by creating productive spaces that foster their active role in achieving sustainable development goals,” the ministry stated.
