
Construction of a key housing project for women in Hidd has reached 73 per cent and is expected to be finished by the end of the year, Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna Al Romaihi has said.
Beneficiaries will be allocated apartments after that, the minister said during an inspection visit to the Masaken 2 project in Al Hidd Housing City.
She was accompanied by Supreme Council for Women (SCW) secretary general Lulwa Al Awadhi.
They reviewed the progress and completion rates of the project, in the presence of officials from the ministry and the council.
Ms Al Romaihi noted that the Masaken project is one of the leading initiatives to support women in securing suitable housing and ensuring their living stability.
