Youth City 2030 praised as inspiring model for region

Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi visited Youth City 2030 with a delegation from the Kurdistan Foundation and reviewed its programmes and facilities.

The minister highlighted the initiative’s role as a pioneering regional platform in equipping young people with leadership, entrepreneurial and creative skills, noting the strong international interest it continues to attract. “This reflects the effectiveness of Bahrain’s youth development policies and the kingdom’s standing as an inspiring model in the field,” she stressed.

The visiting delegation, led by foundation director general Dr Yara Barzanji, was briefed on the city’s specialised centres, including those focused on leadership and entrepreneurship, science and technology, arts and culture, health and sports, as well as media and entertainment. They also viewed a number of innovative projects in youth entrepreneurship and volunteer engagement.
