
Manama: The Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theater (PAACT) once again brought the vibrant spirit of Onam to life in Bahrain with its annual celebration — Orumayude Onam 2025. The event, held at the Golden Eagle Health Club, Salmabad, in association with Amazing Bahrain, was a vivid showcase of Kerala’s tradition, culture, and unity. It turned into an unforgettable experience for food lovers, art enthusiasts, and the wider community.
A Star-Studded Celebration
The heart of the event was the Mega Onasadya, a grand vegetarian feast that welcomed over 2,000 attendees. Distinguished guests added prestige and warmth to the celebration, including:

The elaborate Onasadya, prepared by Right Choice Caterers from Palakkad, offered guests an authentic culinary experience of Kerala. The festive mood was elevated with soulful musical performances by Mr. Prasobh Ramachandran, a celebrated South Indian playback singer.
Cultural highlights included Thiruvathira, Kaikottikali, an engaging stage performances by PAACT members and children — each act reflecting the joy, inclusivity, and cultural richness of Onam.
