RIYADH: The Swedish pavilion captivated visitors at the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition 2025 with its exclusive “Saudi Heritage Collection,” a series of bespoke designs that fuse luxury craftsmanship with Saudi cultural identity.
The limited-edition collection features a rifle, a knife, and a luxury G63 vehicle, each crafted in green and white with 24-karat gold detailing and green gemstones inspired by the colors of the Saudi flag.
Ulf Olsson of Viggo, a Swedish company specializing in hand engraving on weapons, knives, and luxury car exteriors, said the collection reflects Saudi Arabia’s heritage and distinctive national character. He noted that only three sets have been produced, combining intricate hand engraving with modern luxury design.
Among the standout pieces on display is a handcrafted dagger handle engraved with an image of the Kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud — may he rest in peace. The detailed artwork blends Swedish precision with Saudi historical symbolism, making it one of the exhibition’s most admired items.
Olsson added that all engravings were completed by hand in Sweden, while the vehicles were developed in collaboration with Carlex Design in Poland, as part of a joint project uniting artistic craftsmanship and European design. He said this marks Viggo’s first participation in the Kingdom, which has received an enthusiastic response from visitors.
Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition 2025 is being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event has drawn a wide range of visitors and families keen to explore its diverse pavilions, cultural showcases, and heritage activities. The exhibition concludes on Saturday.
