His Majesty King Hamad received at Sakhir Palace former President of Hungary Katalin Novák who is in Bahrain to attend the opening ceremony of the third Asian Youth Games.
His Majesty welcomed the former President and reviewed the longstanding relations between the two countries.
His Majesty praised the continued growth of bilateral co-operation in various domains that serves mutual interests. The King also expressed appreciation for her participation in the Asian Youth Games and contribution to the success of this major sporting event hosted by Bahrain.
The meeting also discussed topics of mutual interest.
