The popular Bahraini Farmers Market makes its anticipated return tomorrow at the Budaiya Botanical Garden, with an opening ceremony at 10am.
The event, which is being organised by the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry in partnership with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), will bring together local farmers, brands and artisans from tomorrow until February 14.
The inaugural ceremony is expected to be attended by NIAD secretary-general Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, the ministry’s Under-Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Affairs Asim Abdulla, as well as other senior officials.
This year’s edition will feature 32 local farmers, alongside a number of agricultural companies, productive families, nurseries and beekepeers.
