A record number of local and international exhibitors are set to take part in Bahrain’s largest animal show that will officially open today at 5pm.
The Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara’ee 2025) will open to the public tomorrow at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Zallaq and will run until December 13.
It’s being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad.
The exhibition is one of the region’s largest platforms dedicated to agricultural and livestock production and supports national food security efforts in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to advance and sustain domestic agricultural production.
Ahead of the launch, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak paid an inspection visit to review the technical and logistical preparations.
He said this year’s exhibition includes a wide range of rich and integrated activities suitable for all age groups.
“Mara’ee 2025 will feature animal exhibitions for horses, camels, livestock and bird shows, in addition to agricultural exhibitions with various sections,” he said during the visit.
