Preparations are in full swing to tackle possible flooding and water-logging during the upcoming rainy season in Bahrain.
Northern Municipality’s director-general Lamya Al Fadhala led a tour of key water-collection sites across the Northern Governorate yesterday, reviewing operational readiness and ensuring teams are fully equipped to respond to any emergency.
“The safety of residents and the continuity of municipal services are our top priorities during the rainy season,” Ms Al Fadhala said.
“We are enhancing the readiness of our technical and field teams, and strengthening co-ordination between departments to ensure a swift and effective response to any reported incidents.
“We also aim to implement sustainable solutions to address recurring water accumulation in specific areas.”
