Kannada Sangha Bahrain marked the kingdom’s 54th National Day with a historic achievement, setting a world record for creating the ‘Largest Bahrain Map Drawn Using Grains’.
The spectacular initiative took place at the association’s auditorium in Manama, showcasing creativity and cultural pride.
The proceedings were overseen by Asia head of the Golden Book of World Records Dr Manish Vishnoi, as 54 members from the association’s dynamic Rangoli team, supported by fellow members, meticulously brought to life an 18-metre-long and eight-metre-wide outline of Bahrain using rice grains.
Kannada Sangha president Ajith Bangera congratulated the participants and expressed his sincere appreciation for their collective effort.
The programme, which was attended by scores of members and well-wishers, also featured a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate the achievement.
