Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School (BIS) staged a special assembly to commemorate the kingdom’s 54th National Day.
The programme featured diverse elements, including a cultural segment and a presentation, bringing to life the island’s rich heritage.
Singing the Bahrain national anthem together added to the spirit of unity among all present.
BIS director Himanshu Verma described the celebration as one that reflected shared values, harmony and collective progress.
Co-director Ritu Verma highlighted the kingdom’s rich cultural legacy.
BIS principal Saji Jacob stressed the strong bond between the kingdom and its diverse communities, and encouraged students to imbibe the values of unity, gratitude and responsible citizenship.
The event concluded with the school pledge, followed by the Indian national anthem.
