Empowering students with training in AI and robotics

A total of 150 students from various public and private schools took part in a special education programme aimed at equipping them with the skills needed to navigate future digital challenges. Riffa Views International School conducted the robotics programme in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

The MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) returned to the school’s campus for the fourth consecutive year as part of its ongoing educational collaboration.

This year’s event featured five specialised tracks combining engineering, artificial intelligence and future technologies. These included Industrial Robotic Arm, AI-powered Computer Vision and Electric Vehicle Engineering, in addition to two intensive programmes in AI for Marketing and Content Creation and the AI Creators Lab.

The programmes were delivered using a project-based learning approach, enabling students to gain hands-on experience in robotics, automation, computer vision, sustainable energy and the design of innovative digital solutions.
