As an expat for more than a decade, one of the hardest things during uncertain times is being far from home.
When you’re thousands of miles away from your family, every worrying headline feels heavier. Every moment of uncertainty makes you wish you could simply be close to the people you love. Many of us living here in Bahrain know that feeling.
We all came here from different parts of the world—chasing dreams, opportunities, and a better future for our families. At first, Bahrain was just a place where we worked.
But over time, something beautiful happened. This country became a second home.
In difficult moments, we’ve witnessed the true heart of this nation. We’ve seen how Bahrain stands together and looks after one another—how leadership, community, and compassion come together to protect and care for everyone who lives here.
The efforts of the government and the kindness of the people remind us that true leadership is not just about authority, but about humanity… about valuing every life, no matter where they come from.
For those of us far from our homeland, that kindness means more than words can express. It brings comfort, safety, and the reassuring feeling that we are not alone.
Thank you, Bahrain, for reminding us—especially in challenging times—that humanity and unity will always be stronger than fear. 🙏
