THE first experimental Gulf Air flight fully connected via the Starlink satellite Internet service has taken off from Bahrain International Airport.
The first-of-its-kind experience for the national carrier, opened new horizons for the future of smart air travel, allowing passengers full Internet connectivity from the moment they board the aircraft until arrival at their destination.
This step coincides with the airline’s announcement of the initial rollout of Starlink service on flights to Dubai, with the service being completely free for all passengers – whether in Economy class or Falcon Gold class.
