THE Global Entrepreneurs Network (GEN2019) was held in Bahrain with a lot of celebrations and educational event themes.
Under the banner of “Learn, Innovate and Create Your Way to Success” the event was supported by Tamkeen and other partners and was held at the Majlis of Sheikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa in Andalus Garden .
It was organized by Lasting Impressions wll to highlight Tamkeen’s efforts to promote Bahraini entrepreneurs and artisans and H.E. Shaikha Hend bint Salman Al Khalifa’s effort towards empowerment of Women in Bahrain.
Al Areen Palace & Spa, Asghar Ali perfumes supports community and Bahrain Professional & Business Federation supported the event and the Royal Bahrain University for Women came forward to deliver lectures to attending artisans and small business owners on subjects such as 'right pricing for handmade products'.
The event happened in Nov 2019.
An Artisan’s Market Place was put-up where the art work of 15 Bahraini and international artisans were put on display, with a sale of products directly from crafters and small business owners.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the Ambassador of Pakistan in Bahrain & his wife, wife of American Ambassador in Bahrain & wife of Malaysian ambassador in Bahrain, with other honourable guests.
Soon more events are coming with unseen handmade products.
