
More than 60,000 people have downloaded the BeAware application since it was launched yesterday, GDNonline reported last night.
This was revealed by Information and eGovernment Authority chief executive Mohammed Ali AlQaed during a press conference being held online.
He explained that people in home quarantine have to register with the app, adding that it also provides information about latest cases.
He also urged all citizens and residents to use the app to raise awareness and ensure the spread of the virus is limited.
