
Another additional 32 cases of Covid-19 have been registered in Bahrain.
This takes the total number of cases for today to 64.
Of the latest batch three have contracted the virus from abroad, while the remaining 29 have come in contact with an existing positive case in the country, said the Health Ministry.
Of these 29 cases, 26 are migrant workers, who were immediately moved to isolation facilities.
Meanwhile, 24 cases have recovered and left treatment and isolation facilities, taking the total number to 519.
- The BD7 fee imposed on expats for general medical consultancy at health centres has been indefinitely suspended.
The decision was announced by Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh as part of measures to ensure expats show up for medical consultancy to detect Covid-19 cases and prevent its spread.
