Forty-five new Covid-19 cases have been registered by the Health Ministry in Bahrain, taking the tally of active cases to 1,162, with two of them critical, writes GDNonline's Raji Unnikrishnan.
Of the new cases, 20 are expatriate workers, 20 are contacts of active cases and five have been repatriated under the International Covid-19 Repatriation Programme (ICRP).
Ten patients have recovered, making it a total of 783 recoveries. Bahrain has witnessed seven deaths since the outbreak.
