A further 41 new cases of the coronavirus have been registered in the country, GDNonline's Raji Unnikrishnan reports.
Of the new cases, 34 were expatriate workers, three contracted the virus from local active cases and four others were from abroad, said the Health Ministry.
This took the total number of cases today to 187.
The number of active cases grew to 1,950, meanwhile, recoveries went up to 1,762, with an additional eight more patients recovering this evening.
