Another 79 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered, bringing today’s figure to 295 and raising the total figure of active cases to more than 3,000 for the first time, GDNonline reports.
The Health Ministry said that of the latest cases, 63 were among migrant workers and 16 were local contacts. Six patients of the current 3,076 active cases remain critically ill.
Covid-19 has already claimed eight lives. However, in total 2,152 people have been discharged after treatment.
