Visit this center on an inaugural day was a real treat for me as a crafter & artist. As mention by Huda from the cultural ministry that traditional handicrafts are one of the most important elements of living /intangible heritage, an exceptional material investment considering that each reproduction is unique depending on social, geographical, environmental, and eco-systematic factors.
Made in Bahrain is an initiative of the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities. where the Bahraini identity show with an aim to educate audiences on different local crafts & their role in the social/community development. the products are produced with an element of modernity. All hand crafted products were appreciated by visitors .
