Covid-19 restrictions extended until June 25

The partial closure of non-essential services has been extended for an additional two weeks commencing Friday (June 11) until June 25 as Bahrain continues to witness a downward curve in new active cases, reports GDNOnline.

The decision was announced by the Health Ministry following discussions by the National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (Covid-19) within efforts to achieve a flatter curve.

According to the announcement, malls, cinemas, retail shops, gym, fitness halls, entertainment facilities, spas, barbershops, massage parlours and salons in addition to pools will remain fully closed until June 25 while restaurants and cafes will be restricted to take-away orders and deliveries.
