The ban on catching sheri, safi and andaq fish begins today and ends on May 31, announced the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) yesterday.
“Should a fisherman catch one of these fish by chance during the ban, he should set it free, while taking care to make sure it is not hurt,” read the announcement.
