Labour Day in Tubli served as a poignant reminder of the resilience and compassion within the community, as WeCare Bahrain spearheaded a heartfelt initiative to support labourers amidst challenging weather conditions.
Volunteering her time, Anjali Pandy, a key figure within the unregistered non-profit social organisation, said efforts were aimed at alleviating the burdens faced by hard-working labourers, many of whom have persevered through months of financial strain due to delayed wages.
The labour campaign, held in an area where all labourers reside within a camp, unfolded as a testament to the solidarity and generosity of the Bahraini community.
