Poem Midhun Milton's "Dying Star" - U18 entry

In the dying star,
There lied far,
A movie star,
Who thinks far.

A dream,
But not just any dream,
But a red dream,
A girl of his dream.

So magnificent, her beauty,
So elegant, her smile,
So exotic, her character,
So musical, her voice.

Her red lips,
Her shiny eyes,
Took my heart away,
Took my breath away.

Now, it's time,
To shine,
But this insolent creature,
Has no nature.

The mind resides,
To it's best,
Not to ride,
To it's worst.

And there lies,
The end of the beginning,
Where my heart dies,
Like a dying star.
