Poem Midhun Milton's "Another World" - U18 entry

Let's take a stance,
Not breathe for a while,
Not move our arms,
Not open our eyes.

Surrender ourselves,
In the abyss,
Of the ocean,
From everyone.

Oh hoy! I raised,
What boy? They looked,
My look astound,
At the sound.

Every time then,
Everything laid still,
Everywhere open,
Everyone kind.

Silence prevails,
Astoundment sails,
Grievance wails,
Forgiveness hails.

A new morning,
A new purpose,
A new beginning,
A new life.

Peace at last,
Freedom forever vast,
Death won't be my last,
Time won't be the past.
