The Snowflake Craft fair organized by the American Women’s Association(AWA) will be held on the 2nd of November 2024 at the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre from 11am to 5pm.
The Snowflake Craft fair is one of largest fundraisers for the AWA which helps support 30 local charities and organizations. The fair will feature an array of goodies including tasty homemade treats, handmade soaps and bath bombs, handmade crochet toys, art pieces, holiday gifts from more than 100 vendors.
The event will feature a variety of food vendors and also the AWA Bake Shop which will offer a wide range of delicious treats and food provided by the AWA members based on their culinary expertise.The event will also showcase handmade products made by the ladies of the AWA Craft Group who have worked tirelessly throughout the year. All proceeds from the sale of AWA Craft Group products and AWA Bake Shop will go to support the local charities.
The fair which was first held in 1976 will be taking place at the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre from 11 am to 5pm with entry tickets costing BD1 and children under the age of 5 entering for free. The event will feature a raffle draw with exciting prizes to be won, some of which are generously donated by the vendors. The shoppers will also get to enjoy Christmas Carols by the Manama Singers and other choirs from Bahrain. Santa Claus would also grace us with his presence. All the proceeds will go to local charities.
