Dozens of volunteers picked up rubbish as part of an educational awareness campaign aimed at protecting the wildlife and environment in Sakhir.
The ‘Preserve Your Wilderness’ initiative, launched by the Southern Governorate in the presence of Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, comes as part of the governorate’s efforts to preserve the cleanliness of the desert during the camping season.
