Unlicensed scooters banned on public roads


Unlicensed scooters have been banned on public roads, emergency lanes and other areas designated for use by cars, trucks and other vehicles.

The General Directorate of Traffic announced that, in line with traffic laws and to ensure the safety of all road users, the use of unlicensed electric two-wheelers is prohibited on main public roads, vehicle lanes, road shoulders, emergency lanes and designated stopping areas.
