212 traders pledge to keep Ramadan prices stable
More than 200 traders have pledged to keep prices stable during Ramadan this year, according to Bahrain Chamber officials.
People in Bahrain were also assured there were sufficient stocks of essential food items, with hypermarkets and retail stores offering special promotions and discounts ahead of the Holy Month, which is expected to start in the coming weeks.
“There is enough supply of food products, including popular items, for Ramadan,” Bahrain Chamber’s Food Sector Committee chairman Khalid Al Amin told the GDN yesterday.
